Small Lag Spikes

Ever since the Dual Blade Patch I've been having these small 1 second lag spikes literally every 15 seconds, it's really annoying and not to mention I can't do jump quests for crap now. Just curious is anyone lagging like me since the last patch? How can I fix this?

I've been having this too, it's extremely annoying, and made it impossible for me to complete jump quests (the Assistant Cheng one in Ludi) on my slinger. I turned off v-sync and did everything I can, restarts/reinstalls etc. Nothing works.

OMG. i thought i was the only one. Yeah seriously, I cant do the CWK JQ to go to WR. Died twice and the last time i almost got there BUT noo the lag came in when i was jumping and i fell into totem >.> They need to fix this lag issue. Btw, I have Windows Vista, do u guys have it as well?

The same thing is happening to me! It sucks for more than just jump quests. It sucks for training as well

Happening to me too. Jump quests are a serious pain now, and the constant "I'm looking for friends!" megaphones is salt on an open wound with this happening. Even changing the graphics to the lowest doesn't do anything significant to lower the lag spikes...

I've got the same thing when I was doing JQ for zakum quests, I spiked on every computer even the fastest one spikes. ):

It happens to me too, but honestly it doesn't affect me at. When doing jump quests, when you see your screen lag, just don't press any buttons. Also, in all jump quests, like the one to windraiders, if you plan it right, you can not press any buttons for 5 seconds and you won't die...Yes its annoying but not deadly >:O

This is happening to a lot of people (including me), and it has NOTHING TO DO with your computer, your version of Windows, your Internet connection or anything else at your end. People with all (or pretty much close to all) different types of computers, RAM, Windows, ISPs and all the other computer related variables have reported the problem. It's apparently a problem with the Maple Story CLIENT, and only Nexon can do anything. YOU CAN'T FIX IT. If you're having this problem, go to the official Maple site and file a Support Ticket. Tell them as clearly as possible what is happening and how it's affecting you, and ask them (politely!) to fix it. The only way they're going to know how many people are being affected by this is if everyone who has the problem reports it.
