Potential ? Enhancement ? WHAT.

Can somebody please explain what these scrolls do. For example, if I have a potential earring, which I magnified and got +4 Dex and +30 MP on. Could I use the enhancement scroll and magnify it again, or what? Thanks. Also, I'm on 2x, which is smarter to hunt for potential equips and enhancement + potential scroll wise?

I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. However, I do know that drum bunnies is the better choice. Why? Because drum bunnies drop pan lids, red whips, dark crystals, and chaos scrolls.

Potential scrolls can only be used on items which do not already have hidden potential. Items with with hidden potential will have a red border around them and a message at the bottom of the item saying so. Use a magnifying glass on the item and you can unlock the hidden potential on the item. A miracle cube can reset the hidden potential if you don't like it. Enhancement scrolls work like chaos scrolls in a way, but the stats can only go up. These start at 80% success rate (100 for advanced) and decrease by 10% after every successful attempt. Enhancement scrolls can only be used on objects with 0 slots.

Potential scrolls really only need to be used like once or twice. No real reason to use them a lot unless you are amazingly rich and can afford advanced. Potential scrolls=Scrolls that reveal hidden potential to your item once using a magnifying glass. Hidden potential ranges anywhere from giving you a certain buff, a bonus +1 SP to any skill, % chance to use an emoticon, % addition to a stat or damage, or additional stats ranging from str right down to accuracy. Enhancement scrolls simply allow you to continue scrolling an item past 0 slots. It starts out at either 100% success (advanced enhancement scroll) or 80% (norm) and its success rate lowers by 10% each use. Catch~ You can use these scrolls as much as you see fit, meaning theres now no limit to how much you scroll an item, but risks are higher than ever. Failing one of these bad boys means you have no chance of keeping your item. You fail, your item dies. This is the case with both potentials and enhancers. Hope I helped. Also, Enhancement scrolls are almost exactly like chaos scrolls. The only difference is that enhancers NEVER subtract, they only add weapon attack. No fixed rate, just +0~5 attack each go. The higher you go in upgrades the better rank it will get (it gets stars for every one you pass), and the more additional attack you may get. I believe it has a good chance of getting you extra weapon attack potential after a certain amount of upgrades. These scrolls are risky but a real life saver for the not so rich noobs out there. I got a sparta from 112~118 attack with just 2 enhancers and i used a potential which gave it 3% dex addition and 5 int.
