I'm sick of seeing these prices: 80m+ for a zhelm.. 1:8 for nx... 200m for a chaos! This is.. insane! All because of arans. Everything has gone up except for my own personal money stash.

Make sure to sell everything if the perfect pitch level-up event comes over. Made chaos prices drop to 15 at one point.

I was just about to buy SE20. Now it's price is over 500mil, instead of 70. And I sold all my chaos scrolls for 100mil, didn't see the big inflation coming. >.< Oh well, I've done some quests and sold all my scrolls during the inflation, so I still made some profit.

It was mainly because EMS didn't do the right thing and rollback after they fixed the exploit. Introduction of aran is just a small part of the cause of these higher prices.

[/quote] LOL @ this. I whole-heartedly dissagree with that assumption. The inflation will die down as it always does just give it some time. Rollback would have angered too many people for lucky gaches, levels, trades, etc. Inflation may be bad for some, but in maple story merchanting can quickly get you money if you know what you're doing. IMO Rollback = BAD IDEA.

It is due to mesos exploit that happened in eMS. This is how it works. More money is in the game very quickly, now making a demand on items. Since there is only x amount of items in the game and lets say 300 people just got rich and want the same item, the item owner has to increase the prices since s/he is unable to sell it to 300 people. The only way to fix this is make a way to increase the items in the game. There is the simple 2x event they can do, or make a easy to get items. In the end, all I want to say is Aran would have not increase ALL the prices in the game. Few Dex and STR stuff sure, but the entire game... not likely.

well, i think that were not getting a Rollback because of the Aran patch. OT, if you sell the items for higher, you maybe know then that they will buy the items higher.

Btw I think, and this is just my opinion of course, that the inflation would have been so much more worse IF the ppl who got the many bils had actually worked hard for it. But now the ppl who got loads of money by doing nothing figured they wouldn't need to care about saving it too much, and started spending it. ALOT. Buying pots that heal more hp/mp they need, which made alot of money just disapper, buying scrolls to fool around with, which they wouldn't have done earlier, and spreading the money more evenly to all players.
