2H Sword Speeds

I'm a fighter with a Jap map (85 att 7 str 3 Dex u/h) I was wondering what att maple rohen I would need to beat the Jap map in terms of DPM. Since the jap map is fast and the rohen is normal, even though the numbers may be higher the damage over the course of time may be lower. Thanks for all the help. P.S I know 1H is the best in terms of DPM, I just want to get the rohen then to the katana and end game I want to be like a 2H/1H hybrid. P.P.S I got rolled back ;_:

I'm not too sure on how to calculate, but I do know that if you provided all your gears that gives ATK, it would help in the calculations. =]

rohen would be better overall if you're dexless. you can take off some acc equips for str equips

the speed differences are approximately 10% per speed lv for these speeds. so in terms of DPS, 85*1.21(or 1.1*1.1)=102.85. you would need a rohen approximately 103 atk to beat the map. please note this is a really rough guess as atk from other equips and potions do factor into this which you have not provided and would actually move the DPS of the map up. also, what you are doing right now is actually recommended for all fighters and pages as with the availability of fast (4) 2h weapons, 2h weapons win out in the lower lvs, and switching to a 1h+shield in the higher levels won't change anything, unless you want to get shield mastery

In this case, the Maple Rohen is probably always better even if it's slower speed since you're not going to be bossing at the lower level anyways.

The only concern is that how would I change the equation when I get upgrades, for I've been using these equips for a while.

@liyanggu your formula is technically correct but overly complicated. first of all, T2 isn't used so im not too sure why you put it down in the first place, secondly i can see how you got 100/82 which is an estimation of 1.21, but by cutting off the decimal numbers, your numbers reach closer to 1.22 instead of 1.21 if i was going to put a formula down, it would be more like this: (total weapon atk with first set up* speed multiplier) - atk from other equipment = 2nd set up's atk the speed multiplier is about 10% from speed (4) to (5), and i believe about 9% from speed (5) to (6) (in which most people round it off to 10%) if you jump speed levels by more than 1, you multiply the speed multipliers up until that 1 point.

If so, that's a 107 to do a teensy bit better (rounded up).
