Hey, people! So for the idiots out there (maybe it's just one... anyhow, for ME...) How does the 4x exp, 2x exp, 8x exp, 10.3x exp and things like that work? Is it like... well, with family rep you get to 2x, then with a 2x exp card from cash shop, is the formula: (1exp+1exp)(1exp+1exp) where the seperate 2x multipliers are multiplied against eachother, or is it simply added together? Because if it's added together, you can also get the maple admin 2x exp for 6x exp, but if it's multiplied then it'd be 8x exp. Thanks!

They're all multiplied together. Hence the "x" after the numbers.

First of all, they are multiplied together, secong of all, it would be 10.8x (HS + rep + card + ring mule)

It's multiplied. Regularly you're on 1x. (1x)*(2xevent)*(2xcard)=4x HS and ring mule exp is also multiplied. Ring mule = 1.8x etc.

Here's how multipliers work: If you have a 2x exp card from the cash shop, then your normal experience is multiplied by 2. If you throw a 2x buff on top of this, your 2x exp card is multiplied to 4x exp. The 80% experience ring would add 80% to this amount afterward, 4x(80%)=7.2x exp. You can also obtain 8x exp and 14.4x exp by using the bright feather buff during a server 2x event on top of a 2x card, that'd give your 8x and with an 80% exp ring you would get your 14.4x Holy Symbol adds 20% exp to a solo kill in a party of two so you can do a simple equation to figure that out using: exp gained(20%)=exp with Holy Symbol For example, 1k exp would turn into 1.2k exp with Holy Symbol.

Well, I'll try to explain them all 2x=Card, Admin Buff, or Family Buff, 4x= Event + Card, Family/admin Buff + 2x card, 6x= Family or Admin buff/Event+Card+Holy Symbol, And I believe 10.3x would be, Event/Buff+Card+Welcome Back ring+Holy Symbol+Admin Buff/Hunters Luck. I've never heard of 10.3x so i guessed on that.

ring-mule = 1.8x 2xp card = 2x rep = 2x HS = 1.5x 1.8 x 1.5 = 2.7 2.7 x 2 = 5.4 5.4 x 2 = 10.8xp If I were a higher level shadower, I'd include Taunt. That's 1.4x 10.8 x 1.4 = 15.12xp But, I think there's like a cap between 12xp to 15xp? In any case, 15xp would rock. A Bigfoot would give 39.9m exp ^__^ A "The Boss" would give 262,500,000! <- That would be more than two levels at my level!

RMZero213White exp is multiplied together, yellow exp is multiplied with white exp but not multiplied together with anything else, unless you leech, then it multiplies with the top row of exp only. Yellow exp includes party exp 10%(or more), ring 80%, monster card 15% and etc. events that happen such as Cake vs. Pie or Rainbow Week. So if you're in a party of two, with HS, HS gives you 1.1x to white and 10% party EXP. W = 1.1, Y = 0.1 Add 2x card. W = 2.2 Add 2x rep. W = 4.4 Add 2x hunter's luck or DB buff. W = 8.8 Add ring mule. Y = 0.9 (Y adds, W multiplies) Add monster card. Y = 1.05 W * Y = 8.8 * 1.05 = 9.24 So white exp displayed will be 8.8x, and yellow exp displayed will be 9.24x (total, yellow exp is displayed in more than one row) This added together gives you 18.04x. However with this setup you will get 0 exp. This is because MapleStory has a limit on white exp (and white exp only) in that you can only get 8x. So you have to remove HS, to get the best optimum exp. W * Y = 8 * 0.95 = 7.6 --> this is not in a party. If you're in a party with no HS you'd get less exp. And even that reduces your exp, to 15.6x. And even monster card exp isn't very likely either...
