Stupid Flaming Feather

So I've been looking for a flaming feather so I could do a certain quest. I looked up what dropped it and I figured Jr. kitties would be best. Well I went there and was there for over 3 hours total now on my evan. I've even used the 30 minute double drop. I've killed so many that I have actually gained almost two full levels. Has anyone ever had this much trouble finding one of these? Also if you are on Bera and you have one you'd sell let me know.

It's supposed to be hard to get. I didn't even finish that quest. I still have the gladius though.

I know it's hard, but this is rediculous. Sad part is, I think I saw it here at an earlier level when I had no idea what it was for. X_X

Personally, I noticed that when your doing a quest for a specific item drop, the drop rate is less when you have the quest activated. When I hunt for items for quests, I find out what I need to find, forfeit the quest, and get the items. Its much easier

The drop rate is always lower when you need that item

@ above Funny thing is, my evan doesnt have the quest. None of my characters do. Didn't see the point in getting it unless I have all the items. Lol.
