| they add like a certain % of something to an item, e.g a pontential scroll could make an item have an effect of +2% hp |

|
Cobeanz : they add like a certain % of something to an item, e.g a pontential scroll could make an item have an effect of +2% hp
that's not entirely true. potential scrolls adds the "unidentified" status on an items (the red border) which enables u to use a magnifying glass to "identify" them. the scrolling does not actually give the stats but the identifying part. |

| they give your item a hidden potential that must be identified with a magnifying glass from and Potion NPC. The potential is a hidden set of stats that the item contains. It could be anything from + a certain amount of a stat, to + a certain % of a stat, to adding a certain skill (such as darkness, having a chance to blind a monster when you attack). There are also those which add a chance to show a different emotion when hit. |
