Missing files needed to play game?

So I, as most other people here, downloaded the Dual Blade patch a few days ago, and since then its worked fine. But after trying to start Maplestory a few times today, it says that "you seem to be missing a few files needed to play the game, download our latest client here at our website." after showing a black screen for a few seconds. I am running on Bootcamp windows XP, I start the game from the website, and it has worked up until today. Now my question here is can anyone here help with A)How to get the files back, and if anyone knows where did they go? OR B)How to download a good version of a patcher, seeing as mine keeps becoming "unresponsive" as soon as it hits Base.wz Thank you for anyone that can help.

I think my sister hit this same problem (not certain, she's pretty vague about computer things x_x), and she just ended up reinstalling, which worked :

Unfortunately it takes me 7 hours to download it, for some reason my internet the past few days has been messed up.

Usually happens when there's map d/cers. But...I'm pretty sure that got patched...? Try going on again, if that doesn't work, just re-dl and re-install.

agree. reinstall BUT, reinstall using the setup.

Do you remember when you first downloaded Maplestory? Well there was this little computer thing (or w/e it looked like) and when you double clicked it, it helped you install Maplestory. That's what he means and you won't have to download the whole thing again. Only problem is if, say, you downloads the v.50 setup, then you'd have a lot to patch but if your setup is pretty recent, then it shouldn't be much of a problem.

I downloaded Maplestory about 2 years ago...but the most recent installer version is...87 I think, but I might of deleted it, not sure. EDIT: Yep, I deleted it D:
