| I'm really getting confused. I get the concept of rollback: the server is rebooted and all the server's data from a previous date/time is recovered instead. But there are a few things I don't quite understand about the rollbacks that have been happening recently: 1) Why are the rollbacks happening, and why always around midnight? (Is nexon doing it or are hackers doing it? Or is nexon doing it BECAUSE hackers are duping n stuff?) 2) How come I lose items as a result of rollback? Not only items, I've lost mesos and nx too. For example, yesterday, I transferred 3 sets of ilbis and 5 mil onto my ring character that I was training to be a sin. After roll back, BOOM, all the ilbis + the money on my mule were gone and my lvl 26 rogue was back to lvl 1. After the rollback, I went into the cash shop and bought a unique meso bag. I got 10 mil from it. Then, all of a sudden, the server crashed AGAIN, and I lost the 10 mil AND the 3k nx I spent. I probably lost a couple sets of ilbis AGAIN 2day and my lvl 27 rogue went back to lvl 1 again also, but that's besides the point. My question is: WHERE ARE THE DISAPPEARING ITEMS/MESOS/NX GOING TO? Isn't rollback supposed to reset your account to a previous time? Then how is it possible that I can lose items/mesos...? Is it becaused I transferred through storage....? I'm really confused. 3) Now, this is where it gets even MORE confusing. Today, I just checked my account after roll back (I can log in and go to character screen but I crash whenever I try to get into the game w/ a character), and my sader that I leveled to 83 at around 11 pm was still level 83. However, my rogue that I was training at around 4-9 pm reverted from level 27 to level 1 again. What exactly is going on? This just seems chronologically impossible now. Does ne1 know how the rollback works? |
