Whats wrong with the 21th century?

I really, really, don't like how things have *changed* in the past 5-10 years or so. People in the age groups of even 11-14 are losing their virginity at a young age cause *Everyone is doing it.* The new style is *try to look super impossible skinny by puking and pick on others.* People resorting to cutting themselves and increased suicide rates are just dumb and horrible. You know what the kicker is? Nobody cares enough or tries to change any of this. Apparently its okay to walk down the street wearing little to nothing and kissing random strangers. If someone doesn't look like a superstar or super athlete does that mean they're *ugly* and don't deserve to be bothered with? What do you think on this cause I'm fed up with everything.

-Sigh- 1. Young people, even young teens, have always experimented with sexuality. If anything, they're just more candid now. 2. People trying to be skinny has been a problem since the 50's, if not earlier 3. First off, there's more people and we are in the midst of an economic recession. Naturally suicide rates will be higher than before. And if you're talking about teen suicides, I can point you to a moral panic in the 80's to where rising suicide rates were attributed to heavy metal, or even the 90's after Columbine. 4. What's wrong with wearing "next to nothing"? If a person does it, then they feel good about their body or may indeed just want attention. What do u think would happen if you did that 30+ years ago C: you would be surprised on how people can resort to bullying one another(i have many examples).

Even if this thread is just from "a spur of the moment" B: I wouldn't but I don't have a problem with someone that does. As for the argument about 30+ years ago...that is a logical fallacy known as Appeal to Tradition. Besides, 50+ years ago just gyrating your hips to dance was unacceptable. C: So? It isn't a new problem.

B: Media changes a lot of the way people perceive *normal*, in other cultures normal may be walking around in the nude, in others exposing your elbows is unacceptable. C: I know it isn't a new problem but the way people bully gets a lot worse and effects are much more drastic

However, that doesn't mean that I just randomly hate a generation or whine about something, as both are very counter-productive B: Okay, I don't see how that even enhances or supports your opinion C: No, it's just that bullying is much more publicized than before. Until recently, it wasn't even seen as a major problem.

1. Only thing annoying is autotune, it was good when it was just T-Pain doing it at the moment 2. The kissing thing, it happens, people get drunk/high and stuff goes down. 3. Bullying is always gets worse. How it was 10 years ago is worse then it was 20 years ago. Same thing'll happen 10 years from now.
