Shadower or Night Lord @ Revamps?

Well I was reading the upgrades that both will have after the revamps and I saw that Shadowers will get a shadow partner, just like NL O: and alot of nice stuff, so I'm wondering, if I want to deal a great damage and like to train alone, which class should I make for the Revamps, a shadower or a night lord?

It depends on whether you go long-term or not. In 3rd job, shads will be better at 1v1 attacking, while night lords will be better at mobbing, and vice versa once you hit 4th job. Both of them are already amazing mobbers, though, so it's all a choice of whether you like high defense and low evasiveness (dit, because they need to be in a thick cloud of mobs in 3rd job) or low defense and high evasiveness (hermit, because they stand beside clouds of mobs rather than being inside them).

Whichever you find more fun. A lot of the Big Bang's details we do know points to an "evening" of a lot of aspects for all the classes, so Shads will be better at keeping up in single targets while NLs will be better at keeping up for mobbing. Plus there be those potential and enhancement stuffs that means that if you reall enjoy a class, you can really "break the rules" with DPM calcs and such since the effects of those items are just so potentially amazing. Rich Bishop could keep up with average Corsair? xD

That's something you should ask yourself actually, whatever you like the most is what you should make even though Chief Bandits get Shadow Partner and Flash Jump it doesn't really matter unless you have fun doing what you do, just like having a real job- if your going to be doing something with your spare time-wouldn't it be 10x if you had fun with it. I think the Chief B. of the now days will have the most fun over any new Bandit made in Revamp though ^__^"

Sorry, "which class" or "class vs class" threads aren't allowed even if the revamp's involved. Hm... Now I think of it the Big Bang Patch thread dropped off the first page of the General section.
