Google Images gets a remake!

And I have to say it's probably the best image search out there. Instead of the old system where you would have to click to view the next page, the pages are streamed into one page, so simply hitting the page down/up key on your keyboard will instantly go to the next page of images. The whole process is a LOT easier to work with. It even picks out your screen resolution automatically to have the best view possible. Give it a shot Rolling over an image will give you the attributes and the site address that you would have seen on the old search. Clicking on the image will bring you to the website with a sidebar that has the same style as the old topbar you got from Google Images. On the site you'll have a lightbox of the image over the page, the same as if you click on a youtube video on Basil (I believe Basil still does this as I have it disabled) Screenshot of new layout and rollover Screenshot of Lightbox view

Thing is, it will eat up your internet download usage like crazy loading all these pictures up at once (at least on mine they all are on one page, and I have a cap plan)

So if you have a cap plan it won't waste any bandwidth until you go to the next page. Screenshots posted in topic post.

I also dislike it. The search-page itself is kinda messy, the sidebar is taking up a large part of my browser window, and it only displays a few things.

google images swirl is hilarious. but it's not that great. i like the new google images with scrolling capabilities. it took me off guaard though. so i was surprised and i kept scrolling....

I like it. Most people knowledgeable about Bing and Google thought Bing had a better image and video search layout, so Google had to upgrade.

It's really good. I don't think it's available on google UK yet though, it only works on the .com link you posted.
