I was making my bandit, because I needed NX for DB's, and I have like no way whatsoever to get my hands on an NX card or do surveys. So I'm making a bandit, probably just as fun. So I was wondering, now that steal mobs, should I get SB or Steal first? And if you can post a build below that would be very helpful!

Are you a normal bandit or sindit. I am a sindit went with sb first. If you are normal go with mastery until 19 then sb till max then whatever you want.

Now if you're going conventional bandit (meaning not using L7 as a rogue), then your first skill you want to get is dagger mastery. That improves and stablizes your dagger damage so that SB can actually deal some decent damage when you manage to max it. If you're going sindit, then you can go SB first, or even Haste first, since you'll be using your stars for most of the damage. If you go haste first, then the natural route is to put a couple points into Steal. Personally, I don't find that Steal is that great of a mob skill, so I would go the SB route. Then again, it's your character, so you're the one who is ultimately making this call. Hope that helps.

Personally, I don't think its worth getting Steal because it'll get replaced by BoT in 3rd job. On my old CB (This might be outdated because of the recent changes) I did: 30 - Mastery (1) 31-40 - SB (30, max) 41 - Mastery (4) 42 - Mastery (5) Booster (2) 43 - Booster (5) 44 - Booster (6) Haste (2) OR Mastery (7) 45 - Haste (5) OR Mastery (10) 46 - Haste (8) OR Mastery (13) 47 - Haste (11) OR Mastery (16) 48 - Haste (14) OR Mastery (19) Leave Mastery at 19 for now because level 20 only adds one accuracy. 49 - Haste (17) OR Booster (9) 50 - Haste (20) OR Booster (12) Ehh, you sort of get the idea. It's up to you whether you want to get mastery or haste first. Just make sure you max Booster, Mastery (Might as well), SB, and Haste. Then you can go put points on Steal if you'd like. I was a sindit but you'd might as well put points into SB first because L7 becomes worse/even compared to SB at around level ~35-37. EDIT: Note: You could probably try putting one point of steal early on to PyPQ if you'd like.

You'll have a bunch of extra points later on, so you can add points into steal, or endure. I put points into endure since this was before steal could mob. Endure saves me mp<3

Yeah, go SB before Steal. Especially since you'll depend heavily on SB during training and CPQ1. Steal is actually really useful. I've been training at MP3 with Steal since my BoT only hits 2 monsters at my current level.

SB NOW. Steal only does 130% mob dmg to 3 monsters. It's pretty pathetic. Go SB first, then mastery to 19, then booster, then haste, then steal.

I got steal first, only because SB training is completely annoying, tedious and boring, and because this is my 4th Bandit so Far (3 of which got to CB). And Steal hits 4, not 3. It doesn't do impressive damage, but it does have some range and might make leveling a bit less boring. I must admit it sux not having SB tho, double stab i slike so weak xP
