Is Maplestory even fun anymore?

Is maple even fun anymore? Just a simple answer is fine, but I just want to see what you guys think. With all the new updates, I feel that maple isn�t fun anymore. When I first started playing Maplestory, I was enjoying every moment of it. It was seriously (to an extent) fun, but now? Ha, it�s more focus on damage than fun. With potential scrolls and rings, it seems that Nexon wants their players to focus being godly(lol). Not only that, they can�t even seem to get things right. I mean come on! Unscheduled Server Checks, rollbacks, and glitches occur more every week. With those problems occurring, they give us 2x events when our server can crash at any minute� In my opinion, Nexon is losing interest of their player�s happiness and enjoyment, and focusing on the money we give them when we buy NX cash.

MapleStory is not fun anymore. Now you have to get to a certain level before a certain day to get that item and what not. Oh and make sure you buy some nx along the way so you can get access to all your skills. >__>

I dont blame much of the game as much of the community. The community makes the Maple society today. Too much people focused on damage and equips.

I made a new character today. I created a crossbowman. I used the equips and funding that was given to me when I started that character. I did not do the +12 stat hat quest however I did do cassandras quest for ring. I got to level 33 off quests and exp from monsters as well as some pqs. I had probably the most fun in maple I've had in 2 years.

I am seriously addicted to maple. i agree it was fun back then (when it was only wizet and no nexon). back when i first started, maple was REALLY free, no nx r anything. and everyone really is into damage and new classes. i mean like dits and db's r the same thing (db's being a stronger, flashier class). dits were rare in maple, but as soon as db's come out, they r literally everywhere. i'm really pissed at this cuz i've been a dit my whole life ( i transferred worlds and made a pirate to get ring) but other than that, all my players r dits. (srry for the rant) T.T

ignorance is not bliss, think about it, if you stay ignorant of things, but then you get even a faint inkling of the truth you will want to know the whole truth and not be left in the dark. that's not bliss, people do not like being kept in the dark, which is why secrets can be so frustrating if you aren't in the know. there's my two cents on that expression, and it is much more fun being a noob then being 40+, because once you hit that level or around there, you'll probably have noticed that the only point in the game is level level level. and it will be like that for a while
