Meso Explosion vs Band of Thieves

I'm stuck on whether I should go M.E. first or BoT first. I'm a 7x dit. My range right now is 874~1468. I have about 175m left. I can sell my 13 atk Maple Shield if I need more mesos, plus I have 2 APQ mules.

allot of people i see put 1 in bomb then bomb Elder Wraiths until lv80 and then bombing elders drops the rags so u wont loose much money, and by 80 BoT is maxed

Meso explosion is crazy fast. Max it first.

I put 1 in ME, grinded until 82 to get MG, then bombed my way on Elder Wraiths to 84 in 4 hours with 4x. I exploded only 4m worth of bags! So cheap! Then again it was 2x drop as well so Elder Wraiths were dropping bags of 1.7k mesos. Furthermore, I got 900 Soiled Rags and 1,000 Elder Ashes. Heh, I gained 10 levels and around 20m+ mesos if I sell all those soiled rags for 25k-30k/ea.

Um im a cb and not a gunslinger or hermit like the above and i can definitly tell you that BoT always comes first to max, meso explosion already has enough power and level 1 so just put one on meso explode and max band of thieves and do what you want from there, trust me you'l regret maxing meso explode first P.S You also need meso gaurd at least 1 when you train its very effective and probably our most important skill

1 in ME is really all you need to train with it at 7x. BoT should always be the very first skill a CB maxes. Everything else should have 1 point in it at most, except 3 in Chakra (pre-req) and maybe about 3-6 in Meso Guard so you aren't recasting it too often. Just bomb Gobies or Elderwraiths with your level 1 ME until you can max BoT.

It really depends more on what you're training on. I maxed ME first because i wanted to start bombing skeles at 80. (: But if you're going to wr/ws etc., max BoT first. (:
