After I was finally able to get online last night, I spotted a lvl 7 beginner in Henyses. Me: "Hullo there fella, wut are you doing off Maple Island so early?" Fella: "im a db" Me: "Can I be of assistance? What do you train on?" Fella: "pigs" Thus, I partied him and we were on our merry way to HHG1. About 30 min later, he had to repot so we went to the Henyses marketplace. I stopped halfway and gave him some equips that he could NPC; he could use the $ fer pots. Then I dropped a lvl 10 gun and this lvl 11x AM comes by and picks it up. He then drops it on top of the shack, the one next to the bridge. The AM's friend cackles evilly and f2's. Here's how the dialogue went [as much as I can remember anyway]: AM: "NOOB" Fella: "NO" AM's friend: "lol wtf" AM: "HAHAHA NOOOOOB" Me: "Dude that's harsh" AM: "it doesnt matter, hes jsut a noob" Seriously? So if a person just starts playing Maplestory and is therefore a "noob", their feelings don't matter? Everyone starts off as a newb. Just because you have a high lvl char or you've been playing for a long time doesn't give you the right to mock others and act superior. I still remember the time when I was a lvl 17 warrior who died from a ZMush and got cursed by this lvl 30 Spearman because I was a "noob." We're all human. We all have our stupid moments. No one is "greater" than another person due to age, experience, or status. I'm happy for those people who get off on making fun of others. Keep that attitude up and you'll end up bitter and alone. Do you have a "noob" experience that you still remember?

hmm usually ppl do the oppposite since newbs are so rare i remember rollling by henesy to apq and saw this lil evan asking some henehoes where blue mushrooms were. they f6 and ignored him. so iItook him and he said "thnx mr nl" it was cute

NOOB ======//////////////////======== NEWBIE. GODDAMIT. That being said, When I used to KPQ the leader would always call anyone who didn't know the combinations a noob and kick them out. That's pretty much all I remember.

People like you are the ones that actually know how to treat a person. What that AM did was extremely rude, it'd be funny if a higher level called him a noob. =/ Kudos to you and that 'fella'. But yeah, I've been called a noob tons of times, I usually shrug it off, since I don't care what they think, but I must admit, it can get to you sometimes.

Whoa, being Lv.11x does not give you the right to be a jerk to the newbies...That's just mean. It just feels good when I come by Kerning city and some lower level dude comes in and asks me 'Hey DK sir, where is x NPC/drop/monster?'. I try to help them and they're like Thank you so much DK! F2. Newbs are kinda cute, ya know.
