I'm sorry if this might be an over-used topic/question but none of the threads I have looked at have answered my question so here it is. I quit Maplestory during v55 and I came back for a short period after cygnus knights were released but quit again. Without NX (EVER), and without funding, what job should I start and in which world? :/ I was leaning towards Evan even though Dual Bladers just came out, but idk.

Both Evan and Dual Bladers require NX for there skill books. You could do surveys or sell stuff in the MTS for the skill books, As they arent that expensive til or if you get to 120. Personally, I gave up my evan after lv50, I just go soo bored, and sick of doing all the evan quests. Dual bladers seem really fun so far :3 Aran is also a really fun job. the quests get annoying at first, but after lv70 your done with them.

Go make a main. Explorer, or Evan, or Aran. Don't go Dual Blader, there kinda homoish, i really don't like it. There's too many people for it now. Bellocan , is one of the best worlds right now because it's stable, and the prices are decent and everything. If you go Khaini, Scania, Broa etc, there kinda populated now and prices are rising. I'd go windia , bellocan, or Deme. But it's up to you. Flame War Begins now.

Few things about Evan: • Magic Guard, Spell Booster and Crittical Magic all require NX to obtain as of this time, • You need to do quests about every 5 levels to get SP, so you can max out all the skills you need, and • From 3rd mastery and on, your cast time will be very slow compared to anyone else, other than that, it is a great class with some very interesting and unique skills. You are very conspicuous with your dragon (useful for PQs) and you are a nice blend of attacker and support class. I recomend BasilMarket's "Taming the Dragon" guide, it has improve greatly since it was made. As for training, each job got a new quest that should take them into their 2xs, which is started by completing each quest in the uppermost category of quests in your quest menu. Doing these will get you a mini-Zhelm for levels 18+, giving +12 to your main stat and an impressive ammount of defense. From there, you can do PQs such as Kerning City PQ, Subway PQ and Ariant PQ, or you can head down to the "mushy dungeon", located in Ant Tunnel II and Sahel II (or the minidungeon) to kill Sand Rats. This should take you to level 30. From 30-40 CPQ is recomended, regardless of class. After that, PyPQ is better for the great mobbers (Arans, Evans, Brawlers, (maybe) Gunslingers, and Dawn Warriors). BasilMarket also has an excellent Pyramid Party Quest Guide, though some details need to be taken with a grain of salt. 45-55 Ellin Forest Party Quest is undoubtably the best experience around if you can get your hands on a party (easier said than done, as this PQ is less popular than Astaroth PQ). 55+ should be spend in Mysterious Path III, untill they get third job. Make sure to check the guides, and hopefully these tidbits will be enough to get you back on your feet. I recongnize that much of this info you probably already knew, but hopefully there is something you can use in that wall of text, lol.
