When was Maple good?

I joined v8.3 and I don't know much about earlier Versions of Maple, so when was Maple actually a good game?

I started playing just after the beta ended, and I must say it was kind of hard. I would say it was good after pirates, but before legends.

I would say it is currently at its peak. It enables the maximum number of people to get enjoyment from the game, playing their own way. Levels aren't too hard to come by, but can be if a person wants a challenge. Monsters are interesting and areas are fun to explore. I would say you've been playing through the best times of Maplestory. I can promise you training in Orbis for hours wasn't more fun and neither was having only one pq or having only two bosses that you'd never win against. Crimson Balrog and Jr. Balrog were way too difficult at the time. >.>

Before all of these new classes i think DB's are getting a bit too much with all their power and stuff nexon should just stop at pirates or arans. I also dont really look forward to the big bang >.>

It was good before the 4th job patch "To me" Everyone was 'Guilding' up and friendly And the general audience was a bit older than the stereotyped "10 year old asian boy" 'Godly' equips were rare and were not required to have fun Sure the exp was bad...but the whole game's community seemed to encourage you to train moderately at most But after the 4th job and the start of their "Ad Campaigns" the community seemed to dwindle. There are still good people, don't get me wrong. But it's much harder for me to find bearable people in such a populated world(Ya for Scania) But this is just my biased opinion from playing since a bit after the Beta

When people were friendly and into the spirit of the game. Nowadays , people are just corrupt. :/ Sure, theres new jobs and easier training, but that doesn't make up for the fact that people are rude and immature.
