Part of the draw of WG comes from the low level restrictions and no-job restrictions. Although it will most definitely replace the WG as the endgame glove, a good WG will still be useful for starting characters.

I would imagine that the higher level class-specific items will now have some more value to them, yeah. Before a simple BWG would be far more valuable than a level 100 warrior glove with the same ATK. Now however, you'll be able to do some pretty cool stuff with that level 100 glove, so it could be FAR more powerful than a BWG.

Actually, I meant specifically level 71. Level 70 still receives the average identification. 71 receives advanced. And lower leveled items with awesome stats are the best, right?

[/quote] But lower level items can't get the awesome stats (or so the thread with all the potential info seems to imply). You can maybe get a 3% Dex boost on your BWG, but a 9% on your level 71+ gloves. And who knows about those cool additions like Hyperbody, Sharp Eyes, etc... They may require higher level items as well. So, I think overall higher level items will provide more power, as they should!
