I've been sitting on this for a while now since I'm fast approaching paladin and have decided that I want to start bossing at the earliest possible time when I reach 4th job, without hindering my training speed. I plan on mostly grinding at ToT over skeles seeming as my fp mage has been at skeles for 80-150 and I'm a little sick of them (hence why I plan on maxing holy late) o_o but I still want skeles to be like a viable option for me to train at. So anyway would the following build be viable? Or will it be too much of a hindrance? level 120: 1 acb, 1 rush, 1 hh max acb 10 stance max blast max heaven's hammer max holy charge 19 mw (I will never get mw30) max stance max rush max achilles Lastly, out of interest what would be the fastest-levelling 4th job build ignoring the need to boss? (i'm pretty sure you max holy and hammer as soon as possible after acb for that, right?) Also what's the most highly recommended fourth job build? XD Thanks so much for your advice in advance

that build doesn't seem too bad... although it may feel like it while your maxing blast though. also some people add to blast and stance the same time (2 blast;1 stance/lvl), im not sure if you wanna go down that road. and fastest leveling would be probably an HH after acb build, but seeing as you want to boss you won't be able to put one point into a useful bossing skill until at least 134, destroying your ability to boss as early as possible.

I don't personally think that will be good. What will you train on until you have holy? You need to take that into consideration. Also, level 1 stance is useless. Ask me, I BF with lv 1 stance and I'm probably Windia's slowest BFer - it hardly ever activates. I suggest you take the normal build with acb > holy > blast > stance. That gets you to level 150 where you have decent damage and right skills for bossing - before that you are still a sub par bosser whether you have max blast or not.

Sounds like a good build to me as long as you train at ToT. Just stick to RoR4 instead of Skeles since you won't have max Holy Charge. 1 stance doesn't help like Skrato said. I think you should just get 10/20 Stance before maxing Blast. Helps with training and bossing.

I might reach before you, if I don't slack off Holy lets you go to gallos and Skeles while the the 3 charges cannot be used at the best training spots, except for ToT where HH is better Edit: Honestly 9stance and 30 blast is good for Bfing I find Paladins awesome at selling bf leech because they just don't need a finisher, just before its dead you use HH and not let your leecher kill it. But then again killing BF fast requires you to be still be 150. So the standard build is the best Rush>ACB>HH/Holy>Blast>9stance

That's a good build. You may not even want to bother maxing HH that late (you'll be in your early 16x right?) but I suppose it would still help. If anything, you should make a choice between HH and Holy and just max one of them. Contrary to popular belief, you can train at Skeles without Holy (if you have HH) and you can train at O4 without HH. To me, that alone makes HH more worth it but Holy is probably overall more beneficial to training at Skeles than HH. Sorry if that's confusing but basically, I think you should choose either HH or Holy rather than getting both at 15x-16x. I'd choose HH because I don't really like Skeles anymore. For fastest leveling, you would get either Holy or HH. Getting both doesn't really help much (this is coming from someone who maxed Holy at 130 and HH at 140). Again, I'd say HH since I get more exp there and I make a ton of money from Pieces of Time.

Gahh kind of mixed responses here XD @skrato, thanks for your advice, but like I said in my first post I'll be in ToT for most of the time since I am so sick of skeles. Which is why there's really not much point in me getting holy that early haha xD (unless there's some point to holy that I'm missing, is the 10% difference between fire and holy really that big?) Although I have to say just because you don't have holy it doesn't mean you can't train at skeles :P I'm lv113 at the moment and I've been solo grinding there with ice + lit and been getting 18% an hour, really really good exp (even though I hate it there). But as soon as I get 4th job I'll probably hardly ever go there. archsavior I think getting stance before blast is a pretty good idea, I didn't really think about that before xD I agree that it would make training a LOT easier, I'll definitely be doing that then. JinnChaal I didn't think hh was that useful before because I've seen a few people say about how useless it is, I've moved hh to straight after blast (so it'll be maxed at 147) and holy after maple warrior. I must admit hh is what first attracted me towards making a wk in the first place lol xD kevin You'll definitely reach paladin before me I'm going on vacation for two weeks on friday ;~; (back on the 7th). You'd better not pass me! f5! I've tweaked my build a bit now... does it look ok? XD

XD
The 10% is after all your skills - so if you hit 100k with fire blast at max [on fire weak], you can hit 110k on holy weak. That's a big enough distinction to make training on holy weak the only efficient path. Note that this is before big bang - if you don't get to 4th job by christmas-ish we may have Big Bang and then, you may need holy for training at zombies [lol].

gaah so basically hh first = faster training, holy first = better bossing and decent training? Would it be better getting holy straight after blast then, seeming as my main focus will be on bossing?

HH first will give you very slow training until you max it, and then slightly better training, and then slower training again. HH has no real purpose at bossing, the only exception being zakum arms where it can be powerful. If you go the normal build, i.e. 1 rush > acb > holy > blast > stance, you will get the fastest training over time that you can (skele as soon as possible until you can boss-train on BF or similar) while also getting blast maxed at a level when you can expect to be soloing bosses or even being invited on boss runs. Then, stance is maxed during your 14x levels and that just increases your already decent bossing capability ; before 14x I didn't really boss and although I know you do want to, based on your main character I know you can grind, and just popping holy in there before blast will get you faster relative training, and slightly higher bossing damage the 5 or so levels later you do start going to bosses.
Well first of all, what boss is Holy weak? I don't think there are any major Holy-weak bosses in GMS so that point is pretty moot. If you're talking about training, why would you be comparing Blast numbers? ACB matters much more. And although I'm pretty sure that last part wasn't serious, we would get an SP reset anyway so getting Holy for the Big Bang doesn't make sense. If I did the math right, the multiplier Fire on neutral bosses with Lightning and Blast would be 9.57 while with Holy it would be 10.15. To me, that's not a big enough difference to get Holy. Especially since the only neutral bosses that I regularly face are Pap (which is pretty easy to kill) and Zakum (where I'm usually supported by others and the difference isn't big enough to cause a noticeable difference). I'm sorry if it seems like I'm attacking you but as someone who maxed Holy immediately only for it to be nearly useless when ToT came out, I feel pretty strongly about Holy Charge's lack of usefulness.

For the Post- balance WK's to Paladins I think the HH build will benefit the most These Paladins will reach 133 easily with the given 2x events meaning from then till 145 there training is golden. But after it won't be and by that time Big Bang is here and they leave HH 1 from then on

I like it, for a bossing build that is. Only thing I would do is switch around MW and Holy. If your bossing, there's a pretty good chance there will be someone with 19 or even 30 MW with you.
