Dropped My Old Key

Trying to figure out how to "use" the Etc. item on the treasure box (I havn't done the quest in a long time), I dropped it. How do I get it back? Things I've tried: • Chief Stan will not give me one • The right bird is no longer breakable • Kyrin won't give me one Do I need to resart, or is there some other way? Thank you. Edit: nvm, thanks david. I was just hitting the wrong box, lol.

Dont forfeit. I did the same thig. It dosnt matter just go to the chest and hit it it will break and you get the stuff even without the key.

it doesnt matter.. i did that on my slinger for space. go ALL the way to the bottom right section of the ship and hit the treasure box. there you go.
