For the ppl whining about nx mastery books

Think about it. Would you rather spend 30~60k nx on a mastery book that has a 50% chance of working? (gen, boomerang step, etc...) Or spend 8k on a mastery book that has a 100% chance of working + 1 skill point? Really guys, nexon's doing us a favor.

really guys, NX is just turning this into a pay to play game. If they do that, they will loose out to wow. free to play is the only thing they have over WoW, or most any other good mmo

Do you have any idea whats so ever what you're talking about. More then half the skill books that are CS only are for first, second, and third job. Do regular classes have skill books for those levels? And to the 4th job ones, you can buy them with mesos or acualy joining a boss run hunting your self you, so i have no clue where you pulled out 30-60k nx for skill books.

Popular skill books such as TT30 or Gen30 cost roughly 300m and 600m respectively. This translates into 30k and 60k NX, which is more than all of the skill books of DBs combined. Really, with the introduction of the MTS and the introduction of earning NX through surveys, there is no arguement that can express that Nexon is making it Pay to play... After all, nobody is FORCING you to make a DB if you are DEAD set against spending NX on skills...

Wouldn't it make more sense to have both? NX for less-risk, and massive skillbook deflation for non-NX. Of course, DB is a different matter. The supply is already staggering, and there is exactly ZERO demand at the moment...

Some people play this game for fun (or some other reason), which means that they don't have much as far as expensive items to mts or lots of mesos to convert to nx goes (plus why would people want to spend money on pixel skills?).. DBs look fun, which is why i'd like to make one. I don't want to mts things i might use on my other characters just so i can play around with something new. Seriously, have you even done those surveys? The ones you don't have to pay anything for might just send you in circles.

Also @ TS, this IS a F2P game (Free to Play) so I should be allowed to make a dualblade and play with no problems right? Wrong I have to pay money, good bye maplestory being free to play. Im hoping some one will sue soon.

yea it's free to play and it still is, mastery books CAN be obtained like other skills, but nexon has given those of us who doesnt want to risk mesos another way out. But I do agree with the fact that having nx skills for 3rd job and less is over-doing it. I miss wizet :/

Nexon releases extra content which is not necessary to play the game for a charge, which is completely legitimate and does not affect its free to play status.
