does anyone here talk to people that you don't really talk to in real life on facebook? I want to get some feedback and see if it wouldn't be a good idea

people try it and I ignore them there's a reason why I don't talk or text them, so why would I want to talk now?

No. o__O The only people I talk to on fb are the ones that I would talk to on rl. But if you want to make new friends or something, then go for it.

I deactivated my fb 3 days ago lol and no, I never talked to people I wouldn't have talked to in rl.

I talk to a lot of the people I know irl on facebook. I also meet new people on facebook through friends, relatives etc. With that said, I'm also very aware of the risks I take when talking to people I've never met or people I simply just don't trust. I follow one simple rule that I share with all my friends and I feel obligated to let the basil community in on this little rule: Never put ANYTHING you don't want EVERYBODY to see up on a social networking site... it's really that simple.
