Today while sniping newts i found a use for it. Its kind of annoying to have that back newt almost dead and then the first one spawn in ur face..

but what i'm saying is that you will be dealing the same amount of damage anyway, so the overall damage is all that matters. using homing beacon will just waste time that you could be using to deal more overall damage. plus, focusing on the 2nd newt will get you hit. it is stupid.

homing beacon isn't very good in 3rd job its just a requirement for bullseye to answer your question, there's not really a big use for it, i can't recall when i ever needed it in 3rd job

You can freeze the 1st Newt, so that it doesn't hit you. Then kill the 2nd Newt so that when you're done with the 1st Newt, you the 2nd Newt would have spawned again.

Killing mobs that is strong with high hp and exp , but avoid attacking the low-leveled mobs that stands in your way ..... Nah , I used it in SgPQ (or Duel Race PQ , I played MSea btw) on Captain Latanica and that last stage boss , especially when he started summoning his minions of ghouls that is MUCH stronger than the ones you found in Sg . (Hey , a liittle bit like bossing ... but it's still Pq'ing)
