Higher DPM? MM or BM?

Which one has a higher DPM after the Big Bang Patch? Because BM will be able to use FA during Huricane. But I see people posting that MM are pretty good.

[/quote] What kind of math are you doing? Nobody even knows how crits will work or anything other than skills (Some monsters and a few formulas) after the Big Bang. And we got that information from KMS, chances are it won't be perfectly copied into GMS.

It'll be the same as it is now. BM on bosses without wep cancel. MM on bosses with wep cancel. BM's base DPM is about 15-20% higher, and will remain that way after the patch.

Where are all you guys getting the MM>BM in dpm from? From that DPM chart that sombody made even though we don't even know most of the updates and what we are getting? Bm will still outdamage on single targets and Mm will still outdamage on 3+ targets.

I was working a little bit with kruimel0 (Author of this thread [url=]http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/1554787/1/The_quotBig_Bangquot__KMST_Revamp.html[/url] ) and wanted to know how different classes are limited by the equips they theoretically could wear, if every 10% worked (Except for the gloves, I see perfect gloves as chaos'ed ones). It is the same math as in his chart (except I fixed counterattack and BM's damage like he recomended. ) Anyways, with Apples and Maple Warrior, BM are at the top with 587,945 DPS and MM are in 9th place with 503,025 DPS. even without buffs, BM are always ahead of MM. And, this makes sense, because MM's claim to glory is Snipe. When you compare classes without any equipment besides a bow/xbow, a MM will win. But once you start adding in perfect equips, BM's damage increases a lot, but because snipe is already at the top of the damage cap, there is no room for improvement.

Well, a little, but it isn't that far off. Point is, if you are willing to spend time to get good equips for your char, BM wins. If not, MM wins.

[/quote] That chart is probably so far off from the truth. How does he know all these new formulas and such, but i do agree with the fact that good equips benefit Bms slightly more. As i said before and probably will say for awhile: We don't know what gMS will take from kMS, we probably will get the Big Bang patch but not exactly like the kMS version. There is no way to even know if we are getting the patch in the first place unless it is announced on the official website.

bm have more dmp, precfect for focus on a single target (boss), but mm have more movility to attack many targets and kill them faster (training)

I hear Hurricane's arrow/sec speed is doubled, so it's pretty even now I'm guessing. If a single Ultimate strafe is weaker then a Snipe's 500,000 damage, then it would mean Bowmasters are still a little far behind But Bowmasters have Phoenix stun, and better damage, which evens it out pretty well.

We have all of the formulas except how criticals work! That being said, BMs also benefit more from Crits, because a crit on snipe is still max damage! Extreamly Funded, BM>MM Kinda Funded, BM=MM Not Funded, BM<MM
