Training with Taunt

Is training with level 1 Taunt effective at all? The skill takes way longer to use than I thought. I have 7SP I can put in it but would that be enough to make it effective? Please and thank you~

Level 1 Taunt is not that effective. It probably takes you more than 10% extra time to kill the monsters by the time you have used Taunt on a mob, which nullifies the extra 11% exp gain. However, it is probably more effective at level 11 or higher, and especially when you max it - but you must use it at the right time, which is right before you kill the mob. =)

Where do you get the storybook for taunt? I've looked everywhere for it, and apparently it's dropped by Crimson Balrog the Kidnapper. Is that the same one that's on the boat from orbis to ellenia? Should i just boat all day and farm crogs?

taunt is amazing at ob4, but sucks at skeles. exp and pot drop is significantly greater at ob4 while its barely noticeable at skeles. i think its mostly because the skele map is designed so that u waste no time walking while there is alot more space between mobs at ob4.
