Would a str Db be horrible?

I've always preferred Str daggers over luk daggers, simply because they look nicer and it actually looks like it would go hand in hand with a blade. So would my damage be noticeably different as a str db?

str daggers look the way daggers should look. and yes .. they'll be weak but thats up to you. if you wanna make one then go for it

I wouldn't do it, your damage will be noticeably lower. Plus, the dragon kreda/reverse killics are pretty awesome looking daggers, so it doesn't hurt to go the luk way.

IMHO the only good looking luk dagger is DT. If you want str, you could go with lvl65 fan, it only need 35 str and you can get that from eq's without too much effort. That's what I'll do, because I used to have 5 base str dexless fandit before I converted and I still have my 95att fan <3

Ok, so... In order to equip the current level blade and dagger, one must place all ap into luk and dex. In order to equip str daggers, you need to have equips that have luk, dex, and str stats that are equal to the str requirement for the dagger. In order to do that correctly, you need to know how much dex and luk you will need to replace with str. You won't be insanely weaker than regular stat dbs, but you won't be stronger, like higher lvl str shads. They get to equip D.khanjars, whereas dbs all get the same attack blades.

4 base str + chaos helm = 25 str + HTP = 47 str + Black Belt = 52 str + level 100 mask = 54 str + Medal = 56str, probably + Shoulder thingy = 58 str + Eyewear = 60 str Now you can wield an Angelic Betrayel. But.. clean has the same att as a DT, so it doesn't matter. 5 more str = Cursayer 15 more = Reverse Pescas If you use a black belt as opposed to an att belt (11 luk black belt or something) then it MIGHT be worth it to stop at a cursayer, if you fund yourself fully. However.. adding 15 or even just 10 more str to wear a gold double knife, added to the fact that you're using a less than desirable belt, makes it not worth it at that point for the 2 extra att. Yeah.. Fans are amazing, but that only works for true bandits, because a lot of the STR comes from an ATT shield, unless you sacrafice a luk top for str top or something, which is a bad idea. Anyways.. STR DB isn't plausible until level 120, if you plan to use a level 80 or 90 dagger.

Id say its not worth it, but i agree with you. The only luk daggers i prefer over their str counterparts are the Dragon Tail and the Blood Dagger.

If there are no str blades a la the khanjars, then its not worth it, unless you have a godly str dagger already.
