Extremely dissapointed about rings

From reading countless posts on basil market about the extended ring event, I know that I won't be able to continue on my adventurer I had created because the I was already level 50. So basically before the rollback I was level 50 before Sunday but chose to select my ring on the Monday. After the rollback I am still level 50 but without the ring. Because of the "terms" I will not be able to continue this charactars next week to obtain the ring because I am already passed level 49. This totally blows, and I am frustrated because I won't be able to make it from level 1-15 in a week. It had taken me most of the holidays to get to 50 and I won't even be able to collect the reward. Should I log a ticket or just forget about it? Thanks,

Since you did accept the lvl 50 quest at lvl 40, you should be able to receive the ring.

The guy was level 50 before the rollback, but decided not to choose his ring until monday. So now, he does not have a chance to get his ring on the character, and would think it is unfair to have to train a character to lv.50 again.

To defend Nexon's side, they didn't exactly plan this event to work in case of rollback or anything. At first, they couldn't even extend the event if they tried, but they found a way. It's hard to have the foresight to predict this kind of stuff. It's a glitch, and though it isn't your fault, no more blame could be placed on Nexon than can be put on you. Your only option, if you really want the ring, is to log a ticket and hope for a response. You're probably going to be waiting a long time, and Nexon may not be able to help you easily. They're definitely dealing with a LOT of tickets right now, both piled up from before and more from the influx of mini-disasters recently.

You never know, if you have the quest completed in your quest line and your exactly lv50 you might be able to get the ring. We all know some quest if you complete them but don't turn it in they leave a brown quest complete icon on the NPC as long as you don't turn it in or pass the quests level limits(ex. Lv55~100 or Lv70 and below) you should be able to turn it in at anytime. So just assume that since you never turned it in it will still be there for you to redeem it's reward after the patch.

I wouldn't take Hime's word as the word of complete fact. Remember, this is an emergency patch that Nexon America is recoding in one week. What Hime was saying (as knowledgeable as he/she is), is what Nexon told him/her to say, which is how the event is tentatively going to work. Hime is not the one coding the game, so naturally Hime is not going to know exactly how this is going to work out. When the extension hits, the thing should be well debugged, so that all affected players will be able to get their ring. For now, just relax and don't level. You'll still be able to get the ring, trust me. And even if you aren't, you can rest assured that they'll be 10,000 other complaining maplers ready to make sure that doesn't happen .
