So I sign on my Tumblr and I'm being spammed by stuff about this girl. But the wierdest thing is that all the pages about her are blocked my my webservice provider (I'm in the Middle East right now visiting my folks, and the ISPs tend to be rather irrational about things). What's the story?

Lol @ Gawker. They put both the videos up even when her youtube was deleted, knowing that it makes an easy link + summary + videos for the lazier denizens of the internet who are curious about her. In one neat package, the page, titled "http://gawker.com/5589103/how-the-internet-beat-up-an-11+year+old-girl" tells most of her story, minus the nude pics of her on the internet, so no one has to go on youtube hunting for mirrors. Of course, people spread the page around, and therefore the videos, getting Gawker plenty of page hits. Meanwhile, they play the finger-wagging role of "don't make fun of 11 year olds" God capitalism is ironic.
