So I have killed maybe around 300 Electrophants and I think I only have around 23 Hyper Glyphs. Are they just that rare? And also, do the 2x drop events help increase the chances of finding them? Cause I still need 27 more, and I just want to finish this quest :p

Yes, hyperglyphs are very rare. 2x drop probably helps, but I did my quest on pure 1x =/ Look on the bright side, there's another quest after the hyperglyph one that drops items that are almost as hard to find (MesoGear Map Pieces). ^_^

yes, hyper glyphs are a serious pain to get, but look on the bright side, you may find a 60% glove for attack scroll from electrophants. also, if you can mob at all, the meso gear map pieces are easier to get than the hyper glyphs, because there are TONS of i.am.robot, and not just a few.

Ugh, that quest took me ages... That and the next one took me from level 51, to level 52 and 5x%, I killed that many...

the reward is that if you do that you can finish the crimson wood quest and make balanced furies =D

It takes a while. I finished it in 6 hours back in '08 with my boy PirateB0Bx.

Not to mention that the monsters you need to kill are annoying, hit a LOT, and are hard to get to without mark of heroism. And, they're like level 90-100, so you can only hit them like 10% of the time.
