My tv's light broke

How do I fix it. Would you need to go to a electronic store to get the light bulb? Or would i need to purchase a whole new TV. It happen when I heard something inside pop and then the picture when black. You could hear the audio of the program but no pictures. I tired changing the channel but same thing again. Any help on this would be nice :D

the bulb? it costs 150+, or at least the one i had to get was. i'd say either look for a new tv since once you replace it, you're gonna have to replace it again when the new bulb dies. and it'll die quicker cos its the second one. s:

i'm assuming you're still using an old box TV if your light broke. don't worry i still use them too and my light broke too. it's just that everything is seen in doubles and one of the doubles are blue. makes watching interesting
