Is my account lost forever?

Bear with me, the story behind the problem is a bit long. Anyways, I started playing gms 4 years ago but I didn't have a internet connection at the time (something about no cables in the area o-o) so my friend set up a e-mail address and nexon acount for me. I used to play gms at his house every other weekend and he would level me so that we could train together whenever I came over. Now the problem is that I never used the e-mail address for anything because I set up my own e-mail address as soon as I got internet. Now Nexon needs me to change the password to log in and confirm on e-mail and I don't remember the address and my friend can't remember either. I know the password to the e-mail address because its one of ones that I cycle through on forum sites and such and I know all the details of the account. I have screenshots of some of my characters and my security passwords but Nexon has not replied to my e-mails. I know it doesn't mean anything but I've traded using these characters on basil. I have been on basil for over a year so I have traded with some of you on my white knight. If theres is any way to get back my account I will be very grateful for your help. I miss my wk T.T

Simple. :P Log in, when it asks for you to change your password, scroll down and it should say something like ask me later.. or remind me later.. or something like that. Click Charge NX and it should show your e-mail somewhere. Sorry for the unclearness, I've actually never done this myself.

As for recovering the email, when you have your password sent to you it should give you the first few letters/numbers of the address, as well as the provider. Meaning if your email was "exampleemail'at'madeup.com" it should show "exam********'at'madeup.com"

I played at my friends house 4 years ago but for 3 years now i have my own internet And the e-mail activation thing only gives one letter the watever .com >.< not enough info to remember

Go to the site log in it will say edit info go there and put your last name info w/e it ask for and follow it will say your INFO e mail if his does not work go to password change your e mail will be there

T.T why did nexon have to make life harder... rollbacks.. activation.. meso bugs.. hurricane katrina.. all nexons fault =( EDIT: Do you think a GM could help me?

is there anyway to recover an email if you know all the info about the account except the password and e-mail? i know the original pasword but i accidently hit recover password and now i forgot the e-mail?

This is how you get it. First log into your account on the site. Secondly, click on this link and it should send you to the billing process of maplestory. http://billing.nexon.net/pmet01/PayByCash.aspx?Service_code=SVP001&Charge_type=888&Sale_code=005 3rd. Just click on ultimate game card and click continue. Your email should show up.
