Is the free Amoria Hair Coupon quest still a scam?

Remember when they first made that quest in Amoria that gave you a free random hair coupon, but 90 percent of the time it gave you a completely messed up do? For guys, it was usually some rough looking crap with a bald patch that was ridiculously ugly. That trick Nexon played on us made me take every "freebie" it gave out with a grain of salt from then on. So three years later like the title says, does that free coupon you get still mess you up most of the time?

Its better for girls, for guy characters, the only good hairs are antag and monkey... i've gotten bald spot on my hermit and it sucks... it's a ploy to get people to buy hair coupons I guess you can say...

I rather keep my old hairstyle. I only do that quest to get EXP, then I just throw away the coupon. :D

That was why I made this topic, to ask if they added more possible outcomes or reduced the chances of getting those awful hairstyles.

it was always an even chance of getting any of the possible hairs o.o though i highly dont recommend doing it, you could still try?

I don't think anyone hasn't figured out what's the hidden purpose behind the quest, doesn't really take a genius to see it. I just do it on characters I won't care much for, if not, just throw away the ticket after receiving your experience. I'd recommend you start off your character with either Toben or Buzzcut to at least cut the possibility of one of the bad haircuts, although I'm not sure if your previous hair is ignored or not.

I've gotten: 2 antagonist, 1 bald, 1 acorn, and one buzz on males. And I've gotten: 2 Stella (puffy crap old lady hair), 1 Angelica (or the yellow stripe one thingy...wit the purty straight hair) and 1 red ponytail on the female characters I've played.

[/quote] I already tried that, but somehow I ended up with the EXACT same hair just different color.....

Just wait until you can get enough NX in the MTS to change your hair anyway. That way if it's bad (80% of the results), you're ready to fix it. If it's good, then you can use the NX on a color dye job, or a transparent hat.
