Maplestory vs. Runescape

I dont play maplestory anymore for like an year now, but is Runescape any good? I heard u need membership or something for better stuff I dont plan on having that. Just tell me where runescapes better and where maplestorys better, and what runescape has that maple has.

IMO: After the grand exchange thing where jagex made set prices for everything, it killed merchanting. No more buying low selling high D:

Runescape is basically crap without membership. So if you're not getting it don't even bother. Runescape has very detailed quests though. Much more rewarding then MapleStory and more thought out. Above Jagex didn't set prices however they felt. They set them on the usual price they were being sold at at that time. But the prices do change. derp

Runescape has a better economy, slightly more mature people (in my opinion), more detailed quests(not just collect x amount of x items and deliver to npc) and many solid ways of making money that pretty much anyone can do. The cons of rs would be like bad graphics, you have to click A LOT to get anywhere,you can only trade/receive a certain amount of money in a day, and to train a skill all you do is click a monster and wait for it to die. Maple on the other hand has way better graphics, a lot more places to train, and you don't get disconnected for going away too long. Cons would be lots of immature people, very unstable economy (steelies being 10m one year and then 2m 3 years later), and leveling is very long and tedious to do after awhile.

Runescape on membership is fun. Free playing is fun at first, but boring later. I remember when I used to play Runescape... Those days were really fun. ): I miss them.

More detailed quest. Series of quest in a storyline way. Economy decent. Less hackers. Membership is a must or else you'll get bored in the first few weeks.

Runescape's 'replay again' isn't as high as Maple's. When in Runescape you can be whatever you want, be among the people with top-notch skills, making another character is useless. Maple on the other had, it's vice-versa. Sure, some jobs are now becoming tedious, but there's at least 5 jobs, with different subclasses. Both games does not require membership. No more buying low selling high D:" Why can't you do the same? I do that with yew logs. Buy them low, stock them until they become demanding. Example: Buy 10,000 for 500 each = 5,000,000 ; Sell 10,000 for 515 each = 5,150,000 (Sure it's nothing, but that's only 10,000 of an item.)

hmm...ic well i don't plan on playing it too much just when im bored, and i dont want to start playing from lv.1-30 again on maple. so how do u make money on runescape, and what r the diferent classes?
