Well this is just a probably short rant about what just happened while playing MS on my slinger. I was eager to level my level 39 Gunslinger to 50 as quickly as possible, seeing as the Adventurer Ring event ends soon, so I went to CPQ. I spammed "J>PQ" as usual and was quite surprised at how quickly I was invited to a party; usually it took me at least ten minutes, seeing as how I was low leveled and a slinger, which is usually a bad combo for any room. I accepted the invite and was told to change channel and the moment I do, I was in room 5/6. Eager to go kill and whatnot, I jump down to pewpew the Rombots, completely oblivious to the fact that my other two party members were not moving and didn't even utter a word the whole time besides "cc*insert number here*". I killed for a minute and finally noticed. I jumped up and asked if they were there and they were just standing still and "away from keyboard" (Basil apparently prevents the use of the last two letters of the abbreviation of this phrase). At this moment, a member of the other party says, "you can leave if u want". I knew it was a scamming party. But this was not where my anger resided in: it was the conversation that took place soon after. As usual, I was scammed, but that didn't stop me from getting as much experience as I possibly can. So after his words, I just resumed pewpew-ing. After a while, I was fed up with the PQ, combined with the fact that my friend was nagging me to go boss with him, I decided to just prevent them from getting 500CP just to see them get what they deserved for scamming. After spamming all I could, they decided to do the same and in the end, I was just about to leave when the leader of their party says "if u were a normal person u couldve got fw". This piqued my interest and I replied, "What? You were just scamming me for your own FW." And the argument begins and the plot thickens... Him: after ur lose u will join our party and u wouldve got fw but now ur getting scammed f*in noob Me: I don't get it. Him: idiot after u lose u will join our party and we would do the same thing but too late now f*in idiot Me: Well, all I got in the beginning was "u can leave". That doesn't tell me anything and looks like a scam to me. Him: well ur just ignorant and couldve gotten fw but too bad hahaha Me: ... Well... I don't need FW and if you would've just told me beforehand, this wouldn't have happened? I still count this as a scam due to lack of info ^^. Him: shut up f****t At this point, you can tell I love to argue. I've been known to "talk too much" and I display this in full force here. Also at this point, the other player in his party starts to chip in: Other: haha what a noob Me: I still don't get how I am an idiot for lacking information, but whatever. I guess we're done here. No, they were obviously trying to make you feel like an idiot by making up information to fuel their own case. They were mad at you for making them lose 30k Exp in what was supposed to be a free win.

hahas. I hate ppl who says noob and curses big time. Makes them a bigger idiot than they already are. PQ gets tedious like that. That's why I gave up on getting the ring after spending an hour in cpq :x

I really don't understand why people on maple bother arguing with these people. Whenever this happens to me I just say lolumad/no u/ok/Yes I am. to everything they say. They get even more mad. I leave and bam, problem solved.

I guess the definition of it is pretty broad, I guess. Doesn't have to really be a loss of mesos or items, but rather time in this case.

Edit: Plus, where in the entire conversation did his party members say that they were going to win? Not that I can see. All the TS did was spam "J>PQ" and got in to a party. So, he just joined a bad party; there was no scam to begin with.

[/quote] No, because even if they're crappy, and if the goal from the start was to win, but they couldn't, then that wouldn't be a scam. But in this case his party never even intended to help, they used him as a mule to fuel they're own wins. That is a scam.

yeah, that happened to me too. except in the end the scammer actually gave me free wins o.o we got in and she disbanded the party but i quickly made a new one and just kinda sat there. then she added me to her family and gave me free wins o.o
