To me the beginning was creep and all so ep.8 where she kill all the little boys that killed the dog the funny part was when the police said "come out with your pants down". So your thoughts about the anime.

Despite all of it's gore and randomness (random killings and such), it was a pretty good anime HOWEVER; I like Hellsing better ;]

Great animation quality for the time. The animated adaptation left it on a strange open note because the manga wasn't finished so it was pretty awkward IMO :x

I have no idea why so many people get this reception of: omg blood and dead people. man up. it's a good dam animanga. Elfen Lied tests our belief and concepts of what it truly means to be a monster and moreover if you could love a monster. What is truly evil? The knife or the hand that uses it? Finish the anime. I want to hear your opinions and thoughts to the ending. Try the manga right after. It's splits from the anime's plot because the two were not created simutaneously. Honestly, Elfen Lied is my favourite anime. Lucy <3

well ya. I couldn't even last the first episode. It was too gore-y for me. Even the opening song creeps me out ._.; And I heard there's a lot of lesbians/naked/and pervy stuff D: not good for me. ;~;
