Paladin equips question

Hey guys! So, my question is which items should be giving me dex and which gears should be focusing on Str/Attack? Please give me your opinions on what i should do, and what items would be ideal to maximize my damage output but not compromising my accuracy. (EX: Top/Bottom or Overall) I currently have 169 Accuracy with all my equips on and my objective is to be able to Train at Obv4 and Boss proficiently without misses in future levels. So, i might as well list items so you guys can tell me what i should change, hopefully i don't get flamed or called a "troll" for this. I am a Dexless warrior with: 27 Dex 2 Slot Targa Helm (With 15 str) Smiling Mask Face Accessory No Eye Equip 10 Att MoN 18 Att Gloves 12 Dex Earrings 8 Attack PAC 20 Str 2 Dex Top/21 Dex Bottom/8Str 11Dex Shoes 4 Attack Belt 120 Att Sparta/20 Att shield So yeah, please help me become an even better Paladin than i currently am and thanks for your input!

I'm not a fan of equipment threads simply because there isn't a definite answer for most classes. You only need Dex to the point that it allows you to hit what you need to hit. You completely failed to mention your current accuracy or what you want to train on, and, without that, nothing else matters. Like I said, you only need to have enough to hit what you need to hit, so this is a worthless endeavor if you don't actually need accuracy. In that case, you'd just scroll for Strength/Attack. Nice and simple. Honestly, these all seem to be about showing off equips than actually asking for help because, if you really needed assistance, it'd definitely behoove you to give some real information.

Well, I don't know if you know how to read correctly but, I'm asking what PART of my equipment should be dex and which should be Str/Attack because I'm not very familiar with using warriors. I don't know about you, but i find it quite obvious that I'd need Str/Attack to do more damage. I'm simply just ASKING what i should change, like should my Top/Bottom go to Overall since i have sufficient Accuracy, or should i compromise my DEX helm for a a helm with a tad less DEX and more STR. Things like that. Thanks for not reading and assuming.

If possible, get a character to lvl 50 for the ring by wednesday... I can't really give any suggestion as to where you should switch to dex, or str/attack, since I have no idea what your current acc is, or where you're training. I CAN tell you that a top/bottom is almost always superior to an overall.

My accuracy is Currently 169 and I'm currently training on Temple of Time quests till i get to OBV4, and that is most likely where i will be training once i get there. (and Road of Regret Chief Qualm Guardians) As for the ring, I've read quite a few threads about it and yeah, i need to go from Lvl121-122 to get my Ring! So I'll most likely do that today. As for which ring to get though, i do believe i should go Critical as it is most versatile when it comes to Bossing/Soloing, which i would like to do. Whereas the Cruel Ring would only be good for Soloing.

You don't need to worry about more accuracy for now. Concentrate only on upgrading anything with attack or STR if you are making upgrades. For reference, you can't scroll helmets for STR so it's normal to get as high dex as possible. Same with top/bot - only top (IIRC) can be scrolled for STR so you use a STR top and a DEX bottom. The easiest thing for you to upgrade now would be the weapon.

You apparently have issues in that field though, because it took someone else asking you for you to post your accuracy and where you're training. As I said (now for the third time), it's impossible to tell you what would be okay to change while keeping your ability to properly train unless I know those things. You seem to have a warped vocabulary because you certainly don't know what an assumption is as I made none. There was absolutely no way for me to know you had "sufficient accuracy", was there? In fact, it would have been an assumption for me to say so. That said, you're 121 and are "not very familiar with warriors"? Well, that certainly speaks volumes. Because no way on earth did you train yourself to Paladin-hood without becoming familiar with the class.

Get a new weapon. That's the best thing you can do for your damage. Hunt for PoT and make Executioners.

[/quote] Actually that question just escaped my mind till ezirb6 reminded me again, so sorry for that. And, if you actually read my post though, i posted my equips, and from reading that you can tell there is A LOT of Dex (Perhaps too much) meaning that i would have sufficient accuracy. Also, your assumption was that this thread was just for showing off, so rather than looking at my equips you just skipped it. As for the lack of experience being a Warrior, It could be true i guess, because i started off with funds from 1 - Now, i just knew that i needed accuracy so i stockpiled DEX Equips while trying to scroll standard attack boosting items such as WG's and Shields

The only con i see to using my mount is that i have to re-PG every time i use it. But then again, i don't find PG very useful unless I boss.

how does funds have to do with "not being familiar with warriors". if you trained those 120 levels, then you would be able to know how to use one. anyways back on topic you should be fine with the equips right now

From what I can tell: + 4 base + 27 hat + 5 MoN + 12 Earring + 2 Top + 21 Bottom = 67 1 Dex = .8 Acc 67 * .8 = 53.6 accuracy You need 173 Accuracy to hit Chief Oblivions. I see you have a Night Lord, so you should be more than aware that Dex isn't the only thing that counts towards accuracy. There's Luk and, ya know, ACTUAL accuracy. You weren't lying: you don't know crap about that character you leeched. I also never assumed it was for showing off. If I had thought that, I wouldn't have bothered asking for more information. Hurray for boarding the hypocrite train though; I didn't skip over any of your post. Stop assuming. And having been funded shouldn't negatively affect your familiarity with your class. Sounds like a sad excuse to me.

Sounds like a sad excuse to me. [/quote] I think we got off on the wrong foot, as i was just a bit grumpy earlier. So, i apologize for any offensive things i said. Anyways, so now I'm LACKING DEX? Should i just attempt to scroll my Helm 2 more times since Vegas is out? Or should i just rely on sniper pills. And also, Yes i did leech the last few levels, i got a tad bit lazy.
