Typhons and Gallos

Which one will net more exp with less pots? Which one is faster solo?

Well, first of all, I've never trained at Galloperas, so don't take the following too seriously. Typhons give 3.2k EXP, and Galloperas give 2.5k EXP. I believe that Typhons is a larger pot burner, but I've never tested it out. If you don't mind using quite a lot of pots, I think Typhons is better solo. It's also easier to find a map, and keep it.

Gallos is better exp, but has massive pot burn compare to phoons. The problem with gallos are its hard to find a map at pretty much any point of the day. Even when I look for a gallo map early in the morning or during dead times I find myself still ccing for a map and sometimes they are still full. If you are thinking of going to gallos I highly suggest you grab yourself a priest and go with a party. If not your chances of getting ksed is pretty high. If your planning on soloing just go to phoons and save yourself the trouble. above , phoons a pot burn...what? You have it the other way around gallos is a pot burn (except for arans) at phoons I barely used more then 200 hp pots per 4hrs sessions. The only reason why gallos is better exp is because the spawn is ridiculously good and with phoons there a chance of you falling thus forcing you to waste your time getting back to your map.

From my experience Typhons are better exp if you know your way around the map, but they're a huge pot burner.

Typhoons are a large pot burn,maybe it was my technique or something but I burned a lot of pots there but I earned a lot of exp. For gallos,I don't know what to say except it's less of a pot burner than typhoons and that getting a map is near impossible.

holyjp , It's pretty easy to get them in Broa, at least I've always found empty maps.

^^^ wow. OT: I didn't really find typhons that much of a pot burn... Maybe you're using lower-healing pots? I level with like 300 pots at this level in typhons, not that I still train there.

Have any of you guys actually trained at gallos? Their magic attack might only hit 600 damage, but they dish out 1.6k-1.9k touch damage. Phoons magic damage/touch damage are a total joke. Not only that but you can avoid all damage done by phoons if you want on the bush at the sniping pot. Do you guys train your character by smashing your head on the keyboard. If you consider them a pot burn, gl when you guys hit skeles and obliv guards. They dont even hit higher then 400 O.o

I use barbarian elixirs, and I usually use about 100 of them every 15%. :o What's your strategy training in that map?

They dont even hit higher then 400 O.o [/quote] Typhons burn tons of pots because you get constantly hit since they are flying. Compared to newts- they are a pot burn. I don't know about gallos- never trained there, but they seem to burn even more pots than typhons: I killed them for some time for a quest and I got constantly hit, but their magic attack and normal attack deal much more damage than the typhons' attacks, so I guess they burn even more pots than typhons.

typhons, compared to gallos, aren't a pot burn. at least typhons don't 2-3HKO you, thus forcing you to the "1 hit, 1 pot" rule, like gallos idk which is better EXP tho, i was lvl 13x when gallos came out xP

They dont even hit higher then 400 O.o [/quote] 1) Their magic is less than 600 for sure, more like 300-500 o.o 2) Whenever I see bowmen training at gallos, they're standing on the far right stump spamming AR/inferno (or whatever it is, don't know bowmen skills sorry :P) where they can't even get hit by the magic attacks

I haven't seriously trained at gallos, but it is a lot harder to find a map. If you disregard the top plat, you should be getting hit a lot less at gallos versus typhons, and you should really getting hit by their magic attack's 80% of the time. The sniping spot is key, so you might want to share a map. It depends what level, and class you are.
