What is happening to my arm?

My arm is not working quite well. I woke up this morning and at first my arm was dead, I tried waking it up by moving my fingers but it didn't work so i put it in a straight position thinking that my arm would get better if i let the blood flow more easily. It's been an hour now and I still can't move anything except for my shoulder, my parents isn't home because dad went on a business trip and mom left for a meeting, and only me and my 6 years old brother are home at the moment. Took me a while to write this with one hand, anyone experienced this?

You're not going to get any blood circulation in your arm if you leave it hanging like that. Lay your arm on the floor for a while till you get feeling back into it, someone else posted the same problem. Just lay down on the floor for a while.
