What do you guys think of paladins now?

That video's outdated. There's a more current version in the other thread. They're as good as you can get defensively, have decent damage and can support the party during bossing runs.

Paladins are great at boss runs. They can make bosses hit less and can increase practically every 4th job skill by 2 levels. Plus they also have pretty good 1v1, and if the boss is weak to an element, they're even better.

I#m loving the defense abilities, especially the guard skill. I think my new skill build will be acb > blast > stance > defense skills. I don't think holy will be necessary with the higher leveled ToT mobs.. at least not until level 15x when you can skele again, and I don't plan on getting past level 150, so I think I'll skip holy, initially anyway. I need to play around with skill builds first. Plus, with combat orders [which can increase the level of stills beyond 10/20/30!] Maxed stance will give 90+% success rate and that will lead to uber fast BF kills which is fine for training :D
