Being out of the "meme loop" sucks, bans galore!

I haven't been going on the internet very much lately, so on basil I do what I always do when I just link a funny picture or quote a movie or something, but I'm not in the "meme loop" enough to know what I'm posting is a meme, and I get banned. It would be helpful if basil perhaps had a list of memes so I could know what's with or against the rules, because it seems unfair to be punished for something you didn't know about.

I believe there's a site called knowyourmeme.com or something. Chances are, if you think it's a meme, don't post, or you might get suspended
