I heard that the experience needed to level from 1~120 is the same amount needed to level from 120~200. Is this true?

Not even close, because 120-200 is EXP in the ten to hundred millions. While 1-120 starts in the tens and ends around the millions.

I believe the experience needed to get from level 1-189 is equivalent to the experience needed to get from 189-200.

No, it's 1-185 ~ 186-200.

Nowhere near it. Like someone said above, 1-185 = 186-200. The exp goes up a lot everytime you level. Approximately 38.6 billion exp is needed to gain to hit 200. Just the last level from 199 to 200 requires about 2bil. (the same as 1-145)
