| This is for the people that keep saying MoN's > Chaos Hortail Necklace. You guys clearly don't know the potential of Chaos Horntail Pendants. Firstly remember CHTP's have +10 all stats +2 att 4 slot unhammerd (6 slots if hammered). http://nxcache.nexon.net/spotlight/112/0089A-6ad33a05-c25d-4f40-8c04-53c302c08ed9.PNG You also forget Eggs increase ALL stats on a HTP or CHTP (if it works on CHTP that is). so clearly and "hypothetically" a 1 egged CHTP would give +25 all stats +4-5 att + higher % of HP and MP (since ALL stats are affected). Now lets do some basic math here: +25 Main stat = around 5 att, +25 secondary stat = 2 att (almost), +4 att from the egging process (keeping it at 4 minimum) thats 5+2+4= 11 att (theoretically). So that's auto win right there for CHTP, and I didn't include the % HP and MP increase you'll gain from egging process as well. (500+ HP CHTP > 300 HP MoN). And furthermore you forget we have Chaos Scrolls!... -__-. Since 5 slots will be left after the CHTP is hammered and egged once. You have chances to increase (or decrease) ALL stats on CHTP (including ATT!). Therefore even further making MoN's Obsolete. +20 att CHTP's anyone? Not Only does CHTP does all that but help lower Secondary stats for making near statless classes. +20 Secondary stat gain than a MoN. And the +Avoid is another plus point on CHTP's The only reason I can see MoN's > CHTN's is due to the price and affordability to get one, in which case YES! MoN > CHTN. Overall if price wasn't an issue NO! CHTN > MoN. EDIT: I just read on SW the data on the CHTN's that they can be only egged twice with same stat gain as normal HTP's, ATT and %'s are NOT affected by eggs (again this was on SW info, not by me). And that CHTN's are +40 ALL stats +2 att making it total 14 ATT pendant with +40 Secondary stat boost. That greatly outweighs MoN's in terms of damage, HP & MP gain, and being Statless or Near Statless classes. EDIT2: Bottom Line all CHTN's would give +40 ALL stats +2 att making it total 14 ATT pendant with +40 Secondary stat boost. (MAJOR EDIT 3!) EDIT3: I forgot to factor in that CHTN's would be Close to (22 Att) pendants instead of 14. Because since you gain +40 secondary stat. That allows you to reset 40 Secondary stat points and add it into your Main Stat, boosting your damage even further. |

| I can see that its godly but only the rich will be able to afford it.It would be hard plus from what i heard that it only drops about 3 necklaces.Just as Chaos Zakum only drops 3 helms,so MoN would be the better choice for a vary long while.Thats just what i think,its not like everyone can easily put down (rough estimate) 1~2bil for a necklace thats scrolled or unscrolled. That necklace is epic but overall MoN will not be forgotten,will be still the best pendant to use (for certain classes). |
