ok so i had a level like 15 thief, i got to 20, got Cassandra's weapon. ok, so i think cool, im getting the rewards! I get to thirty... nothing! what? why would it give me one and not the other?

It needs to be a new adventurer (or below level 8) Not a random low-leveled one that you made pre-event.

Lol it's because you missed Cassandra's Level 10 quest. You must have a char Level 1. Then you level from 1~50 to get all of her quests. They go from level 10, 20, 30, 40 & 50. I hope this answers your question.

The level 20 one is a rental meaning, everyone regardless of making a level 1 after the event is able to get it.

The quest chain starts at 8 not 10. Also, the rental quests and the adventurer line quest are completely different. Been getting these sexy weapons on my Dawn Warrior all week long.
