Do Fighters/Crusaders/Heros go for Swords or Axes? (Please)

Do Fighters/Crusaders/Heros go for Swords or Axes? like just pure swords or axes during 2nd/3rd/4th job or like switch off like 2nd job go axes/ 3rd job go swords/ 4th job go swords? and if swords or axes do they use 1 handed or 2 handed? Thanks.

Only poor ones use axes. Then, the ones rich enough for sword and too poor for 1 handed, go 2 handed. The rich ones go 1 handed.

so the best choice is swords 1 handed but if poor use sword 2 h, but if even moar (more) poor use axes? xD wow

Well...when i started I didn't know axes were cheaper and lost out in the brandish formula, just didn't want to use swords... ON TOPIC!: you only use one type of weapon pretty much the whole time.

Well, unless they look that awesome to you. The lower STR multiplier average and attacking speeds make Axes and BWs lag behind them. This isn't just a Brandish problem--it's a pain from 2nd job on.

Axes should be revamped so they wouldn't suck. I think they look cool.
