How do I activate this Critical Ring quest?

I keep hearing about this quest. How do I activate it?

My Characters: zFMPirate - 35 Scania Brawler

If you're a Lvl 50+ Explorer. Talk to Cassandra. Level 30 times for a Cruel Ring. If you're a Lvl 9-49 Explorer, level up to 50 and follow above for a Cruel Ring. If you're a Lvl 8 and under Explorer or a new one made during the event, get to Lvl 8 and get a quest from Cassandra. Lvl Up to 50 for a Crit/Cruel/Magic Ring of your choice. xD Edit: Clock's tickin'. Move fast. xD

If I level up 5 more times i'll get the ring? >_> What if I didn't even activate this quest?

you have to make a new character as of the last patch. level him 1-50 no exceptions. maple life a/b will make it so you have to level 50-80. you cannot do the ring quest on a character over level 9.

You'll need to Lvl Up to 50 and then get the Lvl Up 30 Times quest. <_< Yeah, that's gonna be tough since I think the event ends next week. xD Edit: As LuckyRaver99 said, do not use a Maple Life A or B on a new character for the ring since it'll make you skip quests required to do the Lvl New Character to 50 method. Definitely remember this. xD

my bro started playing ms one week ago , he created new account .. and now he is lvl 50 he cant take the ring .. it says you have to lvl 30 times .. how come ? ? o.o

make a new character on your account ... level it to 50 before the 14th

If you skipped that or any of the following Explorer event quests, you cannot get the quest to get a ring at 50. xD

I just started my acc 15mins ago theres no quest for the ring at level 8 or level 10 i made a mage explorer btw

u suppose to accept the quest when u start new character which it call "hero of maplestory something" then keep on doing in every 10 lv til u reach lv50.

As far as I can tell the quest seems to no longer be available. I reached 51 with my Gunslinger, but no quest appeared.
