I know a bunch of you are excited/freaking out or both... so I appointed this thread to see what the upperclassmen want to tell you as advice. Honest, advice here. As a soon to be senior 1. I absolutely HATE the first day of school when some freshmen act like they'll soon own the place... no.... you won't. 2. Please don't make a fool out of yourself, it will haunt you down for the rest of your HS life, WE DO NOT FORGET. 3. .... Uhh, I'll add more later. UPPERCLASSMEN UNITE for advice :D for them nervous peepz, I know I was nervous D:

It's like when you have a baby brother and he takes all the attentions and then when he does something bad he blames it on you.... except these kids are just immature still they have a lot to go through, they'll look back and be like .... Don't hang out with the potheads (trust me, I have... all they talk about is getting high and other times they got high and try talking you into it). Don't pretend to be someone you aren't. Make friends with people that aren't completely retarded. Work first, games after. Get lots of sleep so you don't zone out in class. Relax and try to make the best of your year.

I'm gonna be a senior next year so our principal has entrusted us for setting a safe and higher role for the freshmen to model after. In reality, the seniors are gonna ignore all the ugly ones, and try to hook up with the hot ones. That's how it's been going on for years in my school. :

Also, no matter how nice of a person they and you may be, no matter how bad you feel for them,do not hang put with the outcasts. I'm sorry, I sound mean, but it's true. You will end up getting the same ridicule they get.

SO the freaking nerd from middle school might end up being hot chicks/guys. So, just go with the flow. There's more people now. You'll make friends 1st period :P Just drop a pencil and ask someone to pick it up, worked for me ;P Also, my best friends from middle school ended up being weird stuff :/ so I would recommend new friends. yeah i'm going to be a freshman in september. honestly i'm nervous but not. the HS has a really strict principal so NO ONE bullies or anything but...none of my friends are going to my high school and making new ones is going to be difficult. idk we'll see...

btw, things change, people WILL drift apart from you Freshie year, it's just the way things go. You may have a point in the year where you feel hopeless, but, trust me you'll find a new group.
