Those who have been hellbanned will NOT be permanently banned. Thank you Hime and the rest of the Nexon representatives. WHAT'S GOING DOWN? Nexon "hellbanned" people by disabling trade functions and faming functions. They also took the people off the rankings on the Nexon website, and in addition to that, they have disabled the ability to drop an item or mesos. The reason people were hellbanned is either - a.) they used the meso glitch in which you can get max mesos from Dalair by packet editing (?) and entering -2 billion mesos (?); please note that I am not sure how the glitch works, and that I received this information by reading some posts on Basil Market (always a bad idea, but still . . .). [/quote] b.) they obtained mesos from those who exploited the glitch, and were unaware of the criminality involved with dealing with those exploiters. I have been hellbanned since last night. I have heard that if you log a ticket, you may have the ban revoked. I logged a ticket with Nexon early this morning, and I have not had the ban revoked yet. HOW CAN I PREVENT BEING HELLBANNED? Stop trading with other people; do not buy or sell items in the FM. HOW CAN I TELL WHICH MESOS HAVE BEEN GLITCHED? You can't. They have been mixed in with the system, as someone so aptly put it, like a virus. IF NEXON HELLBANNED THE EXPLOITERS, WHY ARE THERE GLITCHED MESOS? Nexon got to the finish line a bit late; the mesos were already paid to innocent bystanders. They are attempting to contain the glitched mesos by tracking down the people who were paid mesos by the exploiters. DO I THINK THAT THERE WILL BE A ROLLBACK? No, I don't think so. Nexon would implement a rollback if the glitch had occurred within a day or so. This glitch was first exploited around a month ago * , so I believe that Nexon will investigate the claims of glitched mesos and ban those responsible for exploiting the glitch. If you were hellbanned, and you did not participate knowingly in a trade with an exploiter, send a ticket to Nexon explaining you had nothing to do with this meso glitch. IS THE MESO GLITCH STILL IN ACTION? It has been patched, according to

If you get hell banned, how can you trade mesos to someone else? shouldnt the mesos stay with the person who exploited the glitch?

s3v3nsin - Mostly Windia and Scania. JumpGod - that's my beef with the hellban. That's why most people who are hellbanned are outraged. jj299 - They didn't hellban the exploiters in time; the exploiters managed to buy over-priced items in the FM before Nexon did anything about it.

jj299 : in a perfect world this whole mess would have been caught that fast and been dealt with as such, but it was a little late before people started getting hell banned because the contraband mesos spread through the fm, like a zombie virus or STD in an "group of people pleasuring each other smexually" EDIT:it also happened real bad in khaini
