Should Basilmarket get the smartness sys

There is a website for a MOD of the game HL2 called ~facepunchstudios~.~com~ that(without the weird lines) has a "smartness system" there is a rating that appear snext to your name and starts out at like 2000 smartness. Every time that you make a spelling or grammer mistake, your smartness went down, but if you caught it and edited it then it went back up. Thsi has made the forums there a ton easier to use since people don't type like "du u r a stupid nub, b quiet an jus st*u" Now even though this seems like "who cares if we can't spell, it's a game" But it is annoying when we can't read what you say. When your smartness rating is 0 then you are banned from chat for 3 days.. Just a thought.

it's just spelling....and if someone cant read your spelling, then you wont get many replys. it's bad for you, too

It would be nice to have somthing like that, it would hopefully get rid of some of the annoying posters who dont make any sense. But this is english...nobody really speaks it correctly anymore, especially native speakers! lol

what ever, its not really ranking, it just encourages propper spelling, and if you don't want it corrected get 10 points taken from your score. It isn't ranking if everyone stays the same unless they don't correct themselves.

There could be some execptions for harder words and things like noob, but mabye an auto spell correct would work out better.

Implementing a nice smooth spell-checker like Gmail has would probably be a better idea, but I won't complain either way. Bad spelling and grammar get on my nerves, but the whole issue isn't really a big deal. I can generally decipher every post.

well if that system going to be implemented. I'll stop using this basil then. And more people will do the same.. btw i'm from europe and English is my third language... so please don't judge people you actually don't know ;) haha?

i say no... cuz of the lil kids playin ms and use this basilarket for help... dont expect them to be spellin like a wiz.. -_-
