Sup! I'm going to teach you how to animate. First off, you have to know what a Animation is. An Animation is a bunch of pictures (Frames) that, when played quickly and in a certain order) imitate movements. Now then, to create each frame, I suggest using Bannedstory (http://www.maplesimulator.com ). Bannedstory is a program that extracts the sprites in Maplestory and puts them together to animate them. You can use other programs or do screen shot animation (Not suggested) to make the frames but the quality may not be as good. (This Tutorial assumes you use bannedstory) To do the actual animation, there a few choices. 1) For those people without money, you can use Windows Movie Maker (Not sure what the equivalent for Macs are. iMovie maybe?). The only downside to this is that you have to manually set the SPF for EACH individual frame. But it is free. 2) You can also use Photoshop. Simply copy and paste each frame from Paint to Photoshop (Make sure you put them on different layers) and then click 'Save for Web'. Here you'll see a little box for 'Animate'. Set your frame rate, and if you want it to loop or not and then save it to your desktop (or where ever) and your done. [Note: This is what you do for Photoshop Elements however I have been told this also works for normal Photoshop and Gimp which is free (http://www.gimp.org ) 3) For those that know how to use Sony Vegas and Flash you can also use those. But I have no idea how to use them myself so if anyone that reads this knows how to, please tell me :D Now then. You can animate :D But here a few tips: *Spend a lot of time on your sequence beginning frames. These are the frames where you introduce or reintroduce your characters and set up the background. This affects the rest of your animation. *Be careful that each frame is cropped correctly, especially when using skills that may go under your background (if you have one). Bannedstory saves the entire 'scene' and thus whats under the background. And then when you load your animation everything will look find until that frame where the skill goes under the background and everything will look slightly distorted. *Be Patient! Let's say you set your SPF to .1 (What I use). That means each second has 10 frames in it. So 100 frames of work is only 10 seconds. But don't try to raise your SPF. It'll only make your scene look more choppy. *Check for fluency. I usually make about 50 frames, then add them into Photoshop and animate it there and just see if everything flows. If theres something a little choppy I fix it by either adding an extra frame, deleting a frame or whatever that's required. *Do NOT use PowerPoint! While it is a good software, and can make really nice animations, it doesn't work well with animations. It is meant for Slideshows, not 100s of pictures racing by every tenth of a second. *Don't rush each frame. While each frame shouldn't take you more than 1 minute on average, you shouldn't blaze through each. *Make sure something happens t
